Subterfuge—"The Snake Wife"

I'm from New Jersey, Subterfuge is from Düsseldorf, Germany. I don't know what the weather in Düsseldorf is like this time of year, but here in Jersey it's the perfect time to blast music while driving with the windows open. That's a thing, "driving with the windows open music." Only certain tunes meet the requirements, but "The Snake Wife" by Subterfuge passes with flying fucking colors. This track has all the poppy, hooky, catchy goodness you could ever want from a song. The guitars chime, the bass bounces, and the drums pound while the vocals merely present themselves; chill, cool, yet somehow unpretentiously wise. There's hints of one of my new favorite bands, Kiwi Jr, to be heard (though they told me they haven't ever heard Kiwi Jr., but if you know them, you'll know what I mean).
